I happen to chance upon this in a newspaper.

The handphone does cause more stress than an out-of-tune guitar.
It reduces men from heroes to zeroes.

he messages a girl he likes,
and every second she doesn't reply feels like an hour.
He then constantly picks up the phone to check,
even though he hahs already set his message tone loud enough to wake a country.
After a while, he checks his sent box about 15 times to make sure the SMS went out.
Soon enough he'll be checking himself into the IMH.

Girls also feel the same stress. But at least the pretty ones can just tell a non-replier:

I read this and i laughed.
it's so true,

I love Melbourne.
Sis took a good decision to study there.
I wanna follow her after i(hopefully) finish studying in UK.

The people there are downright
Polite.
Caring.
Sociable.
Even when i could feel that they don't really accept my presence.

It looks sunny.
But it's chilly.
Just Nice.

The thing about this place is that,
even with all the hustle and bustle in the city,
they still have time to smile and make small talk.

There was this one guy in the tram,
he was looking at an advert about a book.
The author of The Da Vinci Code,
gave a good review about this up coming book.

This huge guy came onto the tram,
starting asking everyone whether he's the Da Vinci Code author.
There was something about this guy that made me talk to him.
No,
i'm not gay or attracted to him.
I answered,
and he started to talk to me like as if i'm his neighbour.
Then he looked at my brother and started talking about his pullover.
It was from X-LARGE,
since this guy was huge,
made jokes about himself.

When he got off,
he told me and my brother to have a nice day
and good luck in everything we do.
How about that for a nice guy?

anyway so much about nice people,

school has been very tiring lately.

The past week has been sorta bland
other than sports day,

on a high

well

i went out on friday
to which i had to walk with a migraine
and i slept at 8 that day.
so it kinda takes the gloss of a great day

and since week 5 is approaching
everyone's into studying
for some reason its trendy
and i for once think it is too
only that i'm not into it at the moment.

Fever Fever

If you all understand.
It's Fever fever.

I was playing in the 3rd/4th Finals against ACSI,
One of the forwards i was marking was having a flu.
A terrible one at that.
Teruk siol.

At the same time,
I was feverish through out the whole day.
Lagi terok siol.

I hate this feeling of being sick.
Vunerable.
It's like you are being stung by mosquitoes,
but you still cant do a thing about it.

But tak apa,
I enjoyed my time at home.
I slept until 11am,
and then i did some homework.
and read Dearly Devoted Dexter.
I'll swear that if there ever was a series of it,
according to my brother there is,

quite saddening actually.
it was the Semis.
and we all wanted to win.
but then again CSC has always been a dominant team.
banyak/alot of national players.
but we could have won.
had we taken our chances.
ernest especially.
but we still did well and not get thrashed as hoped.

we all wanted to win this.
not just because of the 3rd position that awaits.
but because its ACSI.
we never did liked those fellas.
for some of them are real assholes in the field.
we played with them before.
fought with them before.
talked to them?
NOT.
so anyway, we were down 0-2
we got back up to 2-2.
i managed to score
because tan finally passed to me during short corners.
2nd goal was through a breakaway during their short corner.
i think Calvin scored.
we played like shit after that.
no more vigour.
and to top it off with a whole mountain of salt on our wounds,
they scored at the last minute.

China Trip to Hebei-Baoding No.1 High School

9th-17th of March

Those who went were:
Me, Les, Fez, Mneh, Aneh, Ganidran, GaniLiang, Sat, Man, Si Han, Hamster, Boon, Fhran and 2 others.

We went to Beijing for the first 4 days and left for Baoding on Monday the 12th.

Me in the black beanie with the White top. We love that place. F***ing huge square. haha.

and then came the highlight.

But of course what is a life-time trip without doing something dumb?

Kita STRONG PEOPLE!

Temperature was 8 degrees.
We were feeling crazy.
We did what no one can think of.
Like i said, once in a lifetime experience.

Of course there were other stuff like:

I don't know what the f*** we were trying to do.
But it was a Mercedes Benz POLICE CAR.
Imagine that.
A Benz for a POLICE CAR!

Anyway, if i were to include all the photos of the crazy stuff we did,
it'll be a long entry.
So to keep it short
we go straight to Baoding!

Each of us got a buddy.
Each buddy has their own unique characteristics.
And i really mean by that.
They have that really uniqueness about themselves.
Everyone in the school in fact.
Like everyone is distinguishable.
I'm not going to compare with my class because i'll end up doing alot of wrong.

I love the idea that they keep their books right in front of their desk.
And also the fact that they have 70++ people in A class.
Even though the classrooms were small,
there was this feeling of closeness amongst the students.
and that was what made the classroom really really special.
Cozy at that!

So part of our exchange also included,

A friendly with their reknowned soccer team!
To surprise you readers,
it was the girls team.
and they are f***ing good.

but of course, we have the team lineup.
and they made it so grand,
they even presented the starting XI to the people watching!
It was really very very nice of them.

Oh and they made us play in track pants because of the cold.
But it was one heckova match.
we won 3-1
but of course against girls ah.
they are no pushovers though.
VERY VERY GOOD.
Past batches that went lost to them by 6s and 7s.
That shows how good they were.
But against a soccer-inclined team,
they lost because of our physical superiority.
Past batches suck lah that means.
but give credit to the opposing team.
National 4th in the whole of China.
They were Champions once a few years back.

We kinda forced them to change their plans.
The funny thing was,
they were amazed with the fact that we boys like to shop.
and that China boys hate shopping except for a few handful.
They also taught us 1 thing.
and that everytime there's a group outing or a guy goes out with a girl,
the guy will always offer to carry the girl/girls bags.
If you scroll back up and look at the buddies,
Pei Xin, Thong En's buddy,
carried all the girls bags when we went out.
haha. makes us SG boys pathetic and kental.

after that long, memorable day,
we had to say our farewell to them the next day.

we just got to spend time with our buddies.
but of course, all good things come to an end.

it is going to be 1 more year on.
but my class discussed about it just now.
it was quite horrifying.

Batch of 2007, had a hard time getting into JCs.
Even with L1R5s of 6 or 7, they can't get into VJC.
Now how, if you can't even get into VJC with 6 points, do you enter RJC even?
Maybe this is a way of further screening the students to get the best of the good.

the only way to get in is through straight As,
or through DSA.

It was a match that decided all. But then again, so was VS-RI.
We were geared up but we were again, unlucky.

But then again, this tournament was an eye opener.

From,

1: Coach's changed ways. Very very surprising. He didn't scold us as often as last time. maybe because we played well despite the result.

2: We had a rebellion and it was unsuccessful. BUT, we somehow managed to stick together and i'm proud to say that i'm part of the team.

3: I've never played this hard before. I mean for all the other tournaments i gave my all. But Team 2007 was somehow damn special.

4: This is starting to turn out damn cheesy so i'll stop.

We tried our best. We gave our best. But i think it boils down to luck & SEEDING.
Bloody SHF. What's the use of putting 3 ALL-BOYS schools in 1 group?

Sentosa Flowers 2007

Sounds exciting enough?
well it's pretty bland.
it wasn't that bad but neither was it that good.
it did have wonderful landscaping, something my family is familiar with since Kak Noi takes that course in poly.
well at least close to it la.
Horticulture!

Anyway, when we reached Sentosa, we were issued this to get around.
Been a long time since i went to Sentosa...

looks nice though.
i complete mistook it for an ez-link when i got it from my sister.
and the weird thing is, you can buy it, go home and use it on any 1 day, until the expiry date which is the date of issue plus 6 months.
anyway forget about that.

we came to see flowers but there wasn't much to see. but this suffice.

thats the entrance. so much for flower festival but they decorated every single inch of the place, even the walkway up to the entrance.

i couldn't find any nice flowers to take pictures with but since its CNY let's embrace the festivities atmosphere!

i've always loved oranges.

we left Sentosa at a ripe time of 12:00.

clouds circling. soon enough it rained.

we ate at banquet and i left my family for a movie with Les, Nas, Fez, Han, Azri.

We were planning to watch Epic Movie at VivoCity but when we reached the counter the tender told us,

Got my new mobile.

Besides that,

POOL FRENZY.

Me, Les, Fez and San played pool at Breaker's Pool near Katong.

Les was getting into the mood even before we went to Breaker's.
He emo and emo but in the end, he had a good game against all 4 of us.

That was the game against me and he won at the last ball.

Fez had a quiet day. haha. he's good actually, of course if you put soccer boys and other people into the equation he suck ah like the rest of us. but it was a fun day out and worth it at that.

Unfortunately Fez doesn't know which is the cue ball. haha.

On the other hand, Zid owned everyone but lost to me once. lucky shit la. he redeemed himself and beat me with 3 balls to go. fucked up sia!
San SELIT SELIT SELIT. But the whole point is Zid and he's the only one among us 5 that can break hard. which means we are pure newbreds and suck. haha.

Happy Chinese New Year.

The performance was crap except for the wushu exhibition because i couldn't understand a fuck out of the whole thing.

But the day was quite entertaining.

Started off with briefing for CHINA. Then went to hmt lesson and i made Cikgu damn pissed until she started acting like a girl in denial. Kinda lame but fuck it lah. doesn't matter to the day.

I finally am able to play pool properly but cant break. which sucks because breaking is fun. okay other than all the balls clicking against each other, it does seem quite fun to flex your muscles and stuff to bang the ball hard. whatever with that.

training was okay.

people who got onto the train at orchard are magnificent. they are wonderful and beautiful.

He made as all stay back and decorate the class. And it turned out to be fun.

The rationale behind the smiley was that it was to make teachers smile when they see them after having a tired day. So says monitor. Monitor impressive sia!

So if you were wondering if i did any work, i actually did. Worth it lah. nothing else to it.

Other than that, it was quite a normal week. Except for the fact that,

we lost the plot.

1stly: 2 people pulled out.

2ndly: We depended on too many of individual players.

3rdly: No potential finishers.

Lastly: We killed our hopes when we lost to Northbrooks. fuck.

Till then, N73 this weekend. All those people who gave mixed reviews better shut up because i think it's a good mobile.

VS-Yuhua

Firstly: we played like gay boys.

Secondly: 3/4 of the team got sent out because their play had no heart.

Thirdly: Me, Suren, Manvinder, Nicholas, Fared and Ernest were the only ones to finish the game.

Overall there was nothing special. Just very nice technique from no. 17 of yuhua. Other than that, another performance to be disgusted.

Sister just got a macbook. I couldn't stand it ah. Complexity of the machine is unquestionable. I wish i had one. Just looking forward to 73. no. 4 and no. 5 got new mobiles and they started teasing me. haha.

I'm left with quite alot of homework so i guess that's just it for the week. school's gonna start to pressure us to outdo class of 2006
